This all sounds great, but switching costs are too high. If there were a way to seamlessly migrate my decade long collection in Evernote over to Sublime, I'd be in to give it a shot :)

Love sublime! I didn’t know about the highlighting a sentence in google docs and getting relevant ideas trick that is awesome - is that exclusive to google docs or anywhere in chrome that you write ?

Anywhere where there's text in your browser :) doesn't have to be written by you. And it also works for links (instead of highlighting text, just click the extension)

Like you, I recognized that collecting knowledge, structuring it to output, and building your own world is definitely right, and rather, it is natural to do so.

So I participated in the Beta, but being able to see other people's curation made me feel like it was somehow like a social network, so I shied away from it.

But after reading this article, I understood your thoughts and found it very interesting.

Until now, I've been using apps like Raindrop that focus on making it easier to accumulate knowledge, but looking back, it's true that it's overflowing with things that I like, but it took time to get to the point where I could unearth ideas just from that.

I hope that Sublime will make it more efficient and easier to connect to ideas.

Here's why I have decided to spend more time trying to implement sublime into my life.

I sent this to a friend just now about how I was managing ADHD.

CURRENTLY:

Reading an article by Ezra Klein on NYTIMES.com, wishing I could cross save it to this new app I am testing called sublime, but I don't recall how... Jumping to an article by the Sublime CEO on substack I had started earlier then looking at substack and seeing an article on how to make your “about you” simple and compelling (“TELL THEM WHAT YOU ARE WRITING ABOUT THEN WRITE ABOUT IT!!” )Two other tabs, LUNA tutorial (a DAW recording product) and finally noise cancelling headphones on brown noise so I can focus….

So, yeah, I could use some help capturing the things I find interesting for a later date. I'll be asking Alex to keep me on task.
